New Era Clothing For Women

Women's clothing has transformed and has gone through a sea of changes over the years. One can easily understand it by going through magazines related to apparels and designs. Different times called for different style of clothing. How trends are determined is not very clear. In order to gain a much better knowledge about how women dress, history of women's clothing must be studied.

All throughout the biblical years women dressed in garments that went down to their knees. In the1700s, women from this era wore petticoats that were worn to facilitate the skirts to open like a flower in bloom. In the 1900s the styles which influenced women's clothing is still visible. In this era day dresses made of cotton liner was in use which were heavily laced and were during warm weather. Tailored clothing also made an entry, which looked like men's shirt and was worn during work as a uniform. Women of these years preferred straight silhouettes with very minimal bust, waist and hips.

Impact of Media on Learning

Abstract

Media has opened new dimensions in learning. Now education is no longer a constraint for anyone. Media has brought education to the doorstep of each and every individual. All forms of media- the newspaper, radio, television and the internet are equally important in imparting education. As the technology is progressing, the different educational modules are being channeled through certain community access centers like community radio system, televisions, internet, community multi-media centers etc. Media literacy or education does not only mean to be entertained by media but to learn something from it. As a major part of the learning process is concentrated on children, media plays a significant role to satisfy their intellectual curiosity. Children often learn important things through the media, which change their perspective to life. Moreover, radio has now started to enter into the educational sector commonly known as Community Radio System, which indirectly forms the part of e-learning process. Computer-based education has transformed the traditional offerings of distance learning. This medium of education converts the traditional static resources into interactive and interesting online modules for the learners.

Abstract

It has long been difficult for teachers to effectively communicate the objectives and goals in a fun and exciting way that reaches the students.  In the changing times teachers need to find ways to include students into the lesson using the technology made available to them. It has long been believed that teachers need to get over their fear and use technology openly with students in order to meet their educational needs. By including students into the lessons teachers will experience a more positive classroom experience.
